Totem from Jeju island

A wonderful sight at the beach on the Jeju island.

Such stone stacks are made by passersby, each one keeping a stone on top of the existing structure and making a wish. It’s usually about a foot high. These structures are supposed to keep away bad omen and bring health and good luck to the community.
